18A- Create a Customer Avatar

Here is the avatar that I came up with for my customer. My customer is a middle aged man who enjoys playing golf on the weekends. They tend to drive an economically efficient car. Most likely white car. Some tv shows that they enjoy come on HGTV. Yes they have 1 to 2 children. No adopted children. They enjoy crime mystery books and as far as politicians go they go with whoever cares more about the environment. They are in their mid to upper 40's. They feel like they are still in their 30's. I feel like I have a common interest in same politicians that care for the environment. No I do not think  it is a coincidence. We both care about the environment so it makes sense.

  1. Hey Clayton,
I think your character was pretty cool. Our characters seem to be pretty similar to one another as mine tend to be in their middle aged years. They tend to care about their appearances and are more concerned about their appearance and social elite status than anything else. I thought it was cool to make your avatar have a pale complexion with light eyes and dark hair.

  2. Hey Clayton,

I really liked your custom avatar and how specific you made him. I can definitely see this man as someone who went to a highly-ranked college such as UF and gained a lot of expertise. This person is probably educated about subjects that are not covered in your daily classroom or university course. Instead of playing golf, I can see him sort of building his own 3-D printer in the basement of his home. I see this guy as a real tech-savy person. Real good work.

  3. Nice post, Clayton!
Your prototypical customer is definitely very similar to you in terms of the characteristics that impact his decision to buy the product. His preference for environment preservation through politics makes him a prime candidate for installing solar panels for his business or home. I also like that he enjoys golf as it is one of the sports that you can play for years to come.
